Day Two

Day Two ~ San Antonio! Today we decided to copy the Tramels and visit Seaworld.  We got there around 10:30am and didn't leave until 5:30pm.  I had been texting Aunt Suzy on the way and she recommended that we ride Rio Loco FIRST.  Well let me just tell you, it got us SOAKING WET.  Mostly Mike and I.  When we got off, my freshly done make up was running down my face. Seriously!  So for the next seven hours we were stinky wet messes! We then rode the other roller coasters...well let me say Brooke, Mike & I rode the other roller coasters.  Ashlyn has firmly decided to be anti roller coaster.  We went to Azul, The Sea Lion Caper, Pirates 4D & of course Shamu.  We had a rather eventful uneventful day.  Rudy's Barbeque was conveniently positioned right outside the park so we filled up our bellies and set off for Fort Stockton, Texas.  What is in between San Antonio and Fort Stockton You ask? NOTHING!  We stopped one time for gas in Junction, TX and I went into the gas station and could not find the clerk.  It was very spooky to be the only customer with a missing clerk.  A ton of possibilities were running thru my mind... Maybe he was killed in a robbery? Maybe he was hiding in the restroom to kill me? etc. etc. etc.  No worries, he was only washing the windows outside on the other side of building.  Don't think that meeting him calmed my fears. Lol! He was very Children of the Corn-ish.  I was very happy to see that station in my rearview mirror.  We are now settled into our CLEAN hotel in Fort Stockton and ready for tomorrow's adventure.  Now we just need to get the party in the room next door to go to BED or at least be quiet.
